In Less Than One Week, The Petition To Save The Silver Creek Wetland Continues To Gain Momentum!
Please help us reach 15,000 signatures by sharing with 10 people!
South Georgian Bay’s last remaining intact coastal wetland is being threatened like never before by rampant overdevelopment. Time is of the essence and the costs are very real: the destruction of endangered wildlife habitat, heightened risks for severe flooding and the permanent loss of our natural heritage.
Please continue to support the petition by signing and sharing with 10 people as part of an ongoing campaign to stop two Collingwood developments -Huntingwood Trails and Bridgewater - that will permanently alter and degrade this fragile “Provincially Significant” ecosystem.
We want to raise awareness ahead of the provincial election about these and several other megaprojects in Collingwood/Blue Mountains that are being put forward by large-scale GTA developers that will forever compromise the health of South Georgian Bay.
This is happening while we face a climate crisis that demands we protect rather than pave over our forests, wetlands and wildlife habitat.
