Earlier this week it was announced shining vale got dropped by starz, and is being removed completely dec 31st (which is barely a month after the most recent episode aired). As a huge fan of this show & tv in general, I think it is a very big mistake to not pursue the future of shining vale. I had the opportunity to go to the premiere of season 2 back in october. The out pouring love for this show is crazy. From the gasps when ruth showed up to laughing when terry couldn’t get through the door, it’s very clear this show is so loved. 

Tv nowadays has a very specific format that everyone follows because they know what “works”. Shining vale steps outside all those boxes while also still having those key elements we love. The stacked cast and the super intense intriguing storyline makes this show so beautiful. It’s raw and vulnerable and scary all while being so hilarious. 

Please sign this petition to show starz or any other platform that it’s worth saving. This show became very much a comfort for many people and it’s devastating to see it go.
