A notification from the government of India and Jharkhand has declared our most sacred mountain range of 'ShikharJi', a Siddha/Moksha Sthali as a 'Place of Tourism'.

This notification is an attack on the sentiments & beliefs of all the Sanatan Bharat-Wasi, specially the most peaceful, ancient and progressive community of Bharat, 'JAINs', As 'Ayodhya' being the birth place of Bhagwan Shri-Ram and 20 Tirthankar Bhagwans is very sacred and dear to us, so is 'ShikharJi Tirtha Giri Raj', as it is the Moksha/Siddha Sthali of 20 Tirthankara Bhagwans and millions of other Muni Raj who have attained Moksha in this cycle of time/Kaal.

Our whole nation is well-aware of the above given facts and despite that, the government has opened it up for tourism, hotels, tracking, fun activities etc. to generate revenue and kill the status of being a 'Place of Worship' which should have been protected and maintained, disallowing any such 'adharmic' activities at the Tirtha Giri Raj. 

Remember ShikharJi and all the other ancient pilgrimages are of extreme importance to the nation/Rashtra as they reflect the living lineage of our Sanatan belief system since always and would support the same for all the times to come.

In recent past, attempts have been made to disgrace Girnar Tirtha Kshetra, Palitana Tirtha kshetra, disturbing sacred places of worship like Pavapur, Champapur and others, this is highly unacceptable and is against the interest of this Rashtra/Nation which is built on the pillars of 'Dharma'.

We strongly demand the Central Government of Bharat and the State Government of Jharkhand to quickly revoke such notification and declare the mountain range of 'ShikharJi' a 'Place of Worship', a 'Pilgrimage Site', restricting all such 'adharmic' activities of entertainment or tourism which disturbs the sacred nature and tranquillity of the place.

We also demand the Central Government of Bharat to release a consolidated list of all the Tirtha and Siddha kshetra after consulting with the Jains and other respective communities along with restriction of activities to be imposed in and around such places of worship & pilgrimage and ensure to maintain the same in the interest of Bharat Rashtra.
