Dogs are supposed to be man’s best friend!  Then why are they being dumped, mistreated, and euthanized daily?   We need to demand better treatment.  I am sick of getting on social media and seeing all of the beautiful, healthy, adoptable dogs in shelters but on the euthanasia list for that day!!!

My preferred breed is a Husky.  Certain states such as California, Texas and Arizona are terribly overpopulated with back yard bred Huskies.
They are euthanizing gorgeous healthy Huskies DAILY!   Despite this people are still approved and given a breeding license.

Shelters across the country are over capacity!  Boarding is full.  Rescues are full.  There are no more fosters.  When will this end?

I want to see change!   Here are a few things this world would like to see:

NO Backyard Breeding!  To breed, you should be licensed, be genetic and health testing your animals, all pups should be microchipped and REGISTERED and there needs to be accountability. 

Dogs should be registered to the breeder and also the buyer so if the buyer gets rid of the dog, it can be traced back to the breeder.

NO KILL SHELTERS!!!!

Nationwide shelter links so everyone can see dogs that need help, their bio, location and shelter notes.

All shelters should have vets on site and ALL animals should get the medical care they need and deserve.

All Dogs should be given a 14 day stray hold and then additional time to find a Foster or Adopter.  

Shelters should be required to be transparent and network all dogs / animals in need.  

Hefty fines for owner dumps or repeat stray pick ups.

Hefty fines and life bans for back yard breeders.
