We met with Congresswoman Shontel Brown's leadership team to voice community support to Save Shaker Lakes and reported that 790 letters were sent to the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Your Letters to Agencies Made a Difference

Ohio EPA will inform us of the 30 day public comment period and the date for the public hearing. We will let you know.

We await word from the US Army Corps of Engineers about the request for a public hearing. We will let you know.

Climate & Environmental Sustainability Committee

Tuesday, July 21. 4:00–5:30 p.m. Cleveland Heights City Hall

The Committee will be discussing the proposed creation of a Cleveland Heights Tree Commission, along with other environmental initiatives. Anyone interested in the City's approach to trees, parks, and public greenspaces may wish to attend and learn more about the proposal.

Attend Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights  meetings to provide facts to elected officials.

Everyones' voices will make a difference. Yours. Your friends. Your neighbors. Your family members.

There is a pause because 5,000 concerned individuals signed a petition.

The Federal permitting process remains active and litigation continues. 

500 "Stop the Removal of Shaker Lakes" signs are on lawns. Let's get 1,000 signs on lawns!
