# FreeShadow

Shadow, a four year old boxer, who loves to play and protect. Shadow is known for bringing everybody a tennis ball when they show up to the door, For wanting to race and play. Shadow loves his family and community! Shadow is always ready to play with all the kids outside. He’s ready to greet everyone when they show up to the door. He’s ready to put a smile on somebody’s face. Shadow has never been aggressive towards anybody or towards another animal. The only time shadow has ever growled at somebody or some thing is because they/ it is harming his family. And that’s what shadow what was doing this time. His human sister put him on his leash to take him out to the bathroom. Well his foster dog sister got out as she was taking him  out because she wanted to go play in the ditch where she goes potty at, well, the neighbors, aggressive dog that lives behind us was out there and his human sister did not know that. As she was trying to get the foster dog because they wanted to play with the other dog, but the neighbors dog started growling at his human sister  and the neighbor started kicking shadow and shadow started to protect his human sister and his foster dog sister. Like I said, we all know shadow is not an aggressive dog, and stated above he only protects when his family is in harms way, which was this case. The neighbors dog has been aggressive towards myself towards my fiancé and my children, as well as the neighborhood, adults and children. Where we aren’t even  able to be on our back patio when their dog is out because their dog gets off the leash and charges towards people and other animals. Shadow is currently sitting in doggy jail and we have to go to court to see what they are trying to do. Please help! So many of you have been around shadow and know how he reacts to people and children. We had an open door policy for the longest time and people would just come in and shadow never once was aggressive towards anybody he’s the one who wants to bring you the tennis ball at the front door so you can play with him, the one that is always dying to wear his hoodies or his costumes because he feels naked without them. 

since my fiancé and I have been together, Shadow and I have created a bond. Two years ago, my life fell apart, and when I met shadow a year ago, we instantly clicked shadow has then became my emotional support animal for my depression my post traumatic stress disorder, and my anxiety. Without shadow I don’t know where I would be right now. As a whole family shadow brings so much joy and cheers everybody up same with him in the community! 

I seen shadow this morning and he was so excited to get his tennis ball and play ball with me, but was so sad that I had to leave.   # FREESHADOW
