Leisure Services have been run by Sandwell Leisure Trust for almost 12 years. During this time the Trust has been recognised by many industry award bodies and the services provided are enjoyed by Sandwell adults and children alike. Sandwell council have made a commitment to residents that leisure activities are a priority. We believe any changes would have a detrimental effect on the residents of Sandwell and their ability to manage an active lifestyle. We the undersigned are concerned that a Sandwell Council intend to put forward a proposal in February which would place the future of Sandwell Leisure Trust at risk. We call upon Sandwell Councillors to recognise the great service provided by staff at Sandwell Leisure Trust and do all they can to ensure the service continues to be operated by this award winning organisation.
