Sanderson's Choir Program is in danger of being shut down due to lack of enrollment. The loss of our beloved program would be devastating for all parties involved, but especially for the students. They have worked so hard and for so long to improve their craft. Not to mention all of the students who worked so hard to get into our Honors choir program and won't get the chance to perform at the upper level. This Program is very near and dear to our hearts and we need your help to save it. Our hope is that this petition will show our administrators that there is potential for higher enrollment in the future.  This being said, the best way to maintain the choir is to gain more participants. This class is truly the best class I have ever taken. I have met so many wonderful people that make school worth coming to. Choir has given me and so many others the opportunity to both better our musical ability (A skill I believe everyone can benefit from), and make new friends. There are many other advantages such as learning to work with a team, improved listening ability, as well as learning who we are as individuals. Another fantastic thing about choir is Ms. Taylor. Ms. Taylor is the best teacher I have ever had. She is kind, understanding, listening, forgiving and so much more. I can always go to her when something is bothering me knowing I will leave the conversation with a warm heart and a new perspective. I don't think Sanderson would be the same without her. Needless to say I love this program and we hope you will consider helping our cause!
