Saffron the Opossum was saved over a year ago by his caretaker, Billy when his mother was unfortunately hit by a car and passed.  Billy saw Saffrons need for help and took him into his home as well as his heart.     Taking exceptional care of his tiny ward, Saffron quickly became a irreplaceable member of not only his family but his community.  He is very much loved by anyone that meets him and sees his sweet face while his caretaker helps teach people the importance of having these creatures in the environment.
   Sadly, Fish and Wildlife confinscated him last night and his fate hangs on the line.  Billy is desperate to know that his baby Saffron is okay and and wants him back home with his loving family where he belongs.  Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.  Bring Saffron home!
