As many in our community are becoming aware, the Chicago Cubs organization is planning to demolish the historic House of the Good Shepherd—an institution that has stood for over 100 years—to create additional parking.

This decision would not only erase a deeply meaningful piece of history but also eliminate a life-saving resource that has supported generations of survivors.

We are calling on community members, leaders, and stakeholders to stand with us in protecting the House of the Good Shepherd from demolition.

 This petition represents a collective voice advocating for the preservation of its mission: to continue serving women and children escaping domestic abuse with safety, dignity, and care.
