Please sign this petition to keep Stone as rural Stone.

We need to protect our countryside from being turned into endless industrial units which are not needed, as there are so many already which are empty.

Why hasn't anyone been told about Richborough Commercial applying for a new 192-acre site in Stone, Staffordshire for Industrial, logistics, and manufacturing space before they have apparently 'secured' it?

Stone has already had to put up with HS2, with people having to move out of their homes and businesses and now recently dealing the large monstrosity on the island that appeared again without any consultation.

Let's protect our wildlife ecosystems that thrive in the countryside. Let's protect green belt and rural communities for future generations of farmers and people who live in the local area. 

This development could not only affect the biodiversity and wildlife, but it would implicate issues with traffic pollution and potential flooding.

There seems to be no consultation to the people of Stone and Stafford Borough Council seem intent on merging Stafford and Stone together. 

Let's get as many signatures and present this to the council and local government to show the people of Stone have a voice!
