Thank you for supporting the campaign to Save Route #4!
Just a quick update to let you know that on Tuesday, 4/14 at 9:30 a.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 600 4th Avenue, 2nd Floor, the City of Seattle Transportation Committee will take testimony about the proposed eight month suspension of Route #4 service to Judkins Park during the 23rd Avenue Corridor Improvement project.
If you feel strongly that service should not be suspended, please consider attending this meeting to make your views heard. The Route #4 provides vital connections from our community to jobs, schools, medical appointments and other services and amenities. We need reliable bus service!
Over 500 individuals have signed the petition so far to Save Route #4 either in person or online at http://bitly.com/1a353t4.
For information on bus service impacts due to construction, and for other construction information, visit the project site at http://sdot23rdave.publicmeeting.info/detours-and-bus-reroutes#sthash.g8IiMH2C.dpbs
Major road construction is slated to begin in mid-May.
Again, thank you for your support and please forward the petition to Save Route #4 to all who may be impacted by this change: http://bitly.com/1a353t4.
