Rome is notorious for its traffic crisis. There is often traffic, delays, potholes, speeding and even exploding buses. 

There are thousands of Romans who need to ride their bikes for kilometres just to travel to and from work, because the traffic in Rome is so conjested. It can be very stressful to be stuck in traffic for so long, especially when travelling to work. This stress can cause a lot of road rage over the traffic, which can lead to b@@dy fights, injuries or even worse. Also, the traffic causes thousands of Romans to be late for work. Many Romans have to park on the footpath, because there's no car parks available. This can be hazardous for pedestrians.

Rome also has a road infrastructure crisis. There are lots of potholes and cracks in the road. Not only do the potholes in the roads look ugly, but they are dangerous too. They can cause cars to skid, lose control and crash. Some potholes may even large enough to swallow buses. Many Romans complain about how the roads were built better in ancient Rome, around 2,000 years ago.

Rome has a public transport crisis. Public transport, such as taxis, trains, trams and buses are almost always very late. When the buses are late, it has a domino effect: Then, thousands of commuters miss their next bus or tram, so they miss their train and so they ultimately are around half an hour or even an hour late for work.

Rome has a road accident crisis. Because of the traffic in Rome, many drivers speed and take crazy risks to get to work on time. This results in hundreds of cyclists and pedestrians being killed each year. Many also buses even explode, due to electrical faults.

Absolutely disgraceful!

The critical impacts of the traffic crisis in Rome is why we urgently plead for the Italian minister of roads, Matteo Salvini to make the following changes:

• More public transport more frequently. 
• Wider roads or subways and overpasses to help with traffic flow. 
• Fix surfaces of roads 
• Make safer buses, have proper safety checks & fix electrical faults. 
• Make bike lanes with a safety barrier.  
• More bus & tram stops.
• Encourage more walking and cycling to work or school, through ads and the school curriculum.

They say that ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME,..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but UNLESS WE make these changes, TAKE PROMPT ACTION & sign this petition...

NOTES:

-The beeping from the road rage, in Rome also causes lots of noise pollution. 

-Taking longer to drive wastes more petrol, which makes buying it more costly. It also emits more smoke, which can be costly for the environment too.

-It can take a long time for workers to arrive at work, so services are sometimes short-staffed or have no staff at all, especially during the peak hour. Customers wait hours just to get served.

-Commuters don't need to be in fear of the bus exploding whenever they go to work each day and they don't deserve to die just for travelling on one.

-Many public transport machines in Rome don't work properly, so it's like they are eating people's money and giving nothing in return. Commuters consequently get fined hundreds of Euros for not having credit on their public transport card. The public transport machines should be fixed.

Roma è nota per la sua crisi del traffico. C'è spesso traffico, ritardi, buche, velocità e persino autobus che esplodono.

Ci sono migliaia di romani che devono percorrere chilometri in bicicletta solo per andare e tornare dal lavoro, perché il traffico a Roma è così congestionato. Può essere molto stressante rimanere bloccati nel traffico per tanto tempo, soprattutto quando si va al lavoro. Questo stress può provocare una forte rabbia per il traffico, che può portare a risse, ferite o anche peggio. Inoltre, il traffico fa sì che migliaia di romani arrivino in ritardo al lavoro. Molti romani sono costretti a parcheggiare sui marciapiedi, perché non ci sono parcheggi disponibili. Questo può essere pericoloso per i pedoni.

Roma ha anche una crisi delle infrastrutture stradali. Ci sono molte buche e crepe nelle strade. Le buche non solo sono brutte da vedere, ma sono anche pericolose. Possono far sbandare le auto, far perdere il controllo e farle schiantare. Alcune buche possono anche essere abbastanza grandi da inghiottire gli autobus. Molti romani si lamentano di come le strade fossero costruite meglio nell'antica Roma, circa 2.000 anni fa.

Roma ha una crisi dei trasporti pubblici. I trasporti pubblici, come taxi, treni, tram e autobus, sono quasi sempre in forte ritardo. Quando gli autobus sono in ritardo, si verifica un effetto domino: migliaia di pendolari perdono l'autobus o il tram successivo, quindi perdono il treno e alla fine arrivano al lavoro con mezz'ora o addirittura un'ora di ritardo.

Roma ha una crisi di incidenti stradali. A causa del traffico di Roma, molti automobilisti accelerano e corrono rischi assurdi per arrivare in tempo al lavoro. Questo comporta la morte di centinaia di ciclisti e pedoni ogni anno. Molti autobus, inoltre, esplodono a causa di guasti elettrici.

Assolutamente vergognoso!

L'impatto critico della crisi del traffico a Roma è il motivo per cui chiediamo con urgenza al ministro italiano delle strade, Matteo Salvini, di apportare le seguenti modifiche:

• Più trasporti pubblici con maggiore frequenza.
• 
  Strade più larghe o metropolitane e cavalcavia per aiutare il flusso del traffico.
• 
  Sistemare le superfici delle strade
  Rendere gli autobus più sicuri, effettuare controlli di sicurezza adeguati e riparare i guasti elettrici.
• 
  Realizzare piste ciclabili con una barriera di sicurezza.  
• 
  Più fermate di autobus e tram.

 

Incoraggiare gli spostamenti a piedi e in bicicletta verso il lavoro o la scuola, attraverso annunci e programmi scolastici.

Si dice che TUTTE LE STRADE PORTINO A ROMA,...

ma se non facciamo questi cambiamenti, AZIONE RAPIDA e firma questa petizione...

tutte le strade porteranno invece alla rovina.

La crisi del traffico di Roma non cambierà. I suoi pedoni e pendolari continueranno a essere in pericolo.

NOTE:

-Il bip della rabbia stradale, a Roma, causa anche molto inquinamento acustico.

-Impiegando più tempo alla guida si spreca più benzina, il che rende più costoso l'acquisto. Inoltre, emette più fumo, il che può essere costoso anche per l'ambiente.

-I lavoratori impiegano molto tempo per arrivare al lavoro, quindi i servizi sono talvolta a corto di personale o non ne hanno affatto, soprattutto nelle ore di punta. I clienti aspettano ore solo per essere serviti.

-I pendolari non devono temere l'esplosione dell'autobus quando si recano al lavoro ogni giorno e non meritano di morire solo per aver viaggiato su un autobus.

-Molte macchine del trasporto pubblico a Roma non funzionano correttamente, quindi è come se mangiassero i soldi dei cittadini senza dare nulla in cambio. Di conseguenza, i pendolari vengono multati di centinaia di euro perché non hanno credito sulla tessera del trasporto pubblico. Le macchinette del trasporto pubblico dovrebbero essere riparate.
