Would like to first start by saying again Thank you ALL so very much! The support has been unbelievably overwhelming. Sandy and I started this only a few months ago and because of your support we together have made a HUGE impact on what Rockburn means to us all. As most of you already know a document from the Howard County Board of Education to Executive Kittleman was made public today where both Mission Rd as well as Rockburn have both been taken out of the discussion for the new school site. We are continuing in the background efforts to try to protect the park in the future but everyone should understand the Board of Ed, County Council, and Executive could still make Rockburn an option in the future (especially with next year being an election year). With this stated we are encouraging people to attend the HS 13 Board of Education meeting on February 1, 2018, to show support of not utilizing parkland for a new High School. It is extremely important we show how much Rockburn means to us as we begin to move forward with our plans to preserve and protect Rockburn from any future consideration or development.
