22 Christchurch citizens’ groups have joined forces to lodge a formal complaint against the city council over its handling of Plan Change 14.

The groups (including RBK Residents’ Association) are asking the Ombudsman to investigate, arguing they should have been given more time and more help.

The city council has also treated the people of Christchurch unfairly by proposing major changes to the plan without consulting at all.
