City Council CEO Dawn Baxendale has refused a request from 21 Christchurch residents groups seeking a pause on the new Plan Change 14.

This means 8 and 9 storey apartment buildings are still on the cards for residential Riccarton.

The Combined Residents Association is now looking at other options to prevent the latest changes going forward before the residents of Christchurch have a chance to object.
