Hello everyone, this is one of the hardest things l have ever had to face, but after a long conversation with the president of the board it seems like there is nothing we can do to save Remmi. Legally the shelter won’t allow us or anyone to adopt him as his needs are beyond the scope of most people and organizations; aside from one that already denied taking him in.

After getting all of the information and after learning about his developing health issues, severe mental health issues, new bite history  and neurological conditions   I understand that the shelter would be liable if anything happened if he was under my care even if l signed a liability waiver. We are all beyond distraught and heart broken with the situation. I personally am devastated and feel broken beyond repair. I plan on spending the day with Remmi to make sure his final moments are happy and peaceful.

l want to clarify that my intention was never to hurt Town and Country, only to rally support for Remmi. All l wanted was to try to save Remmi. Everything that was said and done came from a place of love and a place of trying to save this amazing boy. I want to reiterate that l never intended to harm the shelter or cause trouble for the animals there and the employees as well.

There will be police on the promises tomorrow, and if any sort of group of people show up l will not be allowed to see Remmi or be there for his final moments.
