The planned imminent closure of the RVS cafe at Queen Victoria Hospital will affect patients, staff, ambulance drivers and visitors.

There will be nowhere to get a hot drink, snack or urgent sugar boost for diabetics unless, as in many hospitals, it is replaced by a commercial enterprise where prices are much higher. 

This service is provided by volunteers who cost nothing and the takings go back into the NHS ....not into company profits. We, the volunteers, are willing to run this facility on behalf of the NHS.
