On this day it is exactly one year ago since we all have been left with the decision of the History Channel to cancel Project Blue Book after two successful seasons. Not only have we been left in shock, we have been left on a huge cliffhanger, too. For a global and loyal fanbase nothing else could have been worse.
As you all know I started this petition to support the studio, the creators, the cast and crew of Project Blue Book to help them finding a new home for the show. Now, exactly one year later, there are still no news if we will ever get to see Aidan Gillen & Michael Malarkey alongside of their brilliant cast members on screen again. But first of all let us take a look on where we came from and what we have achieved together on this journey so far!
Numbers & Insights
Within the first year of the Save Blue Book Campaign we were able to gather +30.000 signatures from supporters located in 151 countries all around the world and we are still going strong. The petition website has been visited +473.000 times until today with +18.000 people who shared it on social media. Round about 10.000 USD were donated directly to "change.org" by Project Blue Book supporters to promote the campaign on the world wide web. These donations have made it possible to gather 4.459 additional signatures. I can not thank you enough for your trust and support for this campaign and I´m sure that change.org is very grateful for your support, too. The complete list of signatures is currently 1.370 pages long. Last but not least, the petition is mentioned on Wikipedia and thirteen international news articles with eight of them in the United States.
The Campaign Website
The Save Blue Book Website (see link below) finally went online in March 2021. Again, very special thanks on this occasion to A&E Television Networks, LLC for their licensing agreement and the legal support that was given from Germany. The website and its ongoing costs are all privately financed by myself to be able to give you something back for your tremendous support within the past year. The website will be updated regularly so please make sure to check it out from time to time.

Social Media & The Cast
Going back in time we have also had countless social media actions such as Save Blue Book Saturday and Save Blue Book Week. Michael Malarkey, Laura Mennell, Jill Morrison, Michael Harney, Neal McDonough, Hayley McLaughlin and Jerod Haynes, they were all supporting our efforts, too. Not to forget the creators of Project Blue Book David O´Leary and Sean Jablonski. We hope they will still be with us in the future from time to time. I also wish to thank the Facebook communities who have supported us from day one, especially MUFON Global and all the other UFO related communities.
What The Future Holds
As for now the show has not been picked up yet which is of course frustrating for all of us. Have we heard from any studio yet? No, we have not. Were there any studios reaching out to us? No, there were none. Did the studios reply to our emails? No, they did not. Have we given up on fighting for Project Blue Book even one year after its cancellation? No, we have not. Will we keep fighting for Project Blue Book? Yes, we will!
I hope that looking back on what we have achieved together keeps you motivated and you will continue to join us on this journey with more to come very soon.
Sending you all the best and my appreciation.
