Update March 29th, 2026. Just two days ago HHS announced its new 18 – member Federal healthcare Advisory Committee for Medicare policy. Not one independent/private practice physician is on the panel. As a matter of fact, some examples are individuals from private equity groups, people associated with corporations such as CVS and Walmart, health attorneys, and value based care executives. This is exactly the omission I warned about in my petition. I submitted an OpEd on this today. Please keep sharing – we need a voice for the over 250,000 doctors still practicing independently who manage chronic illness every day and care for their patients. I very much value your support!
