We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the recent decision by the Committee to withdraw Pickleball as a supported activity at our local courts. This decision was made without proper consultation, prior notice, or transparency in the review process, leaving members blindsided and unheard.

For many of us—especially older members—Pickleball is more than just a sport. It provides essential exercise, supports mental health, and fosters a sense of community. Importantly, our games do not conflict with tennis usage, as courts are often vacant during our play times.

We demand that the Committee reverse this discretionary action immediately. Members deserve transparency, including a full review of the findings that led to this decision and justification for how member funds will now be allocated.
