This is the meeting that was postponed due to too many people showing up at the prior meeting held on Nov. 18, 2025.

The agenda is as follows:

E. California Energy Commission Offshore Wind Energy Waterfront Facility Improvement 

Program Grant Agreement Approval: Adopt Resolution 25-17 and waive reading to approve entering a grant agreement with the California Energy Commission for award of $3 million to the Harbor District through the State’s Offshore Wind Waterfront Facility Improvement Grant Program (WFIP) and authorize the Harbor Director to execute the agreement, and make a Determination of Categorical Exemption under CEQA; recommend approval. 

This is a perfect example of the state of California again wasting taxpayer money to fund a project to transform the port into a facility with the primary purpose of serving multiple offshore wind farms off the central coast.
