Point Reyes Housing Update - Share Thoughts on Short Term Rentals

It has been a year since this petition was released and it has resulted in some great interactions with the county that I believe will result in real change.

There is now an even larger threat to the town, which is the proliferation of short term rentals, and the county is seeking input that will guide their decision about the future regulation that towns like Point Reyes will need to follow. 

If you have a minute, please fill out this county survey. It only takes a minute and it is important the county hears from people who would like to preserve our town for locals as much as tourists, as currently, the most vocal constituents are short-term rental owners.

I will continue to advocate on the town's behalf to keep Point Reyes rural.
