Dear Pleasant Hill Neighbors and Community Supporters,

This email is to inform you that the Pleasant Hill City Council will be facilitating a Housing Element Study Session, this Monday, October 16, 2023 at 7:00pm in the Pleasant Hill City Council Chambers.

The study session aims to review the HCD comments received on July 31, and provide a summary of proposed City responses.  Following the presentation, the City Council will hear public comments, discuss the proposed responses, and provide comments to City staff. 

As directed in the response letter from the HCD;

“Public participation in the development, adoption and implementation of the housing element is essential to effective housing planning. During the housing element revision process, the City must continue to engage the community, including organizations that represent lower-income and special needs households, by making information regularly available while considering and incorporating comments where appropriate.”

SO NOW IT'S TIME FOR US, AS A COMMUNITY, TO STEP UP! Your support for preserving Paso Nogal Hill and Morello Terraces DOES MATTER, and we hope you continue to remain engaged through this long process.  If you wish to submit a comment prior to the meeting, please take a few seconds and email your comments to;
