Race has become a second home to countless members of our local area. It's not just a racetrack; it's the epicenter of our community where we come together for sanctioned and safe motorsports. This track is the maker of incredible memories, a place that has enriched my adult life in ways I never imagined. Losing this track would mean losing a tight-knit community that has always stood by each other's side.

I recall the time when wonderful people from Pitt Race towed my car for hours after it broke down, despite the inconvenience. Or the night we lay on wet asphalt in the pouring rain to fix a car for the next day's event. This is what Pitt Race represents — more than a track, it's a loving community.

Pitt Race is crucial not only for motorsport enthusiasts but for the entire local economy. According to local businesses, the events hosted here bring in visitors and revenue, providing a significant boost to our area. The proposed closure of Pitt Race threatens to dismantle this vital community and economic hub.

We urge stakeholders and decision-makers to consider the profound impact closing Pitt Race would have on our community. Instead of shutting us down, let's explore sustainable solutions to keep the track operational while addressing any concerns.

We can work together to maintain safety and accessibility while preserving the legacy of a place that means so much to so many. One potential solution might be establishing a community trust to help manage and oversee operations. Perhaps with community involvement and input, we can find a way to maintain this space we all hold dear.

Join me in standing up for Pitt Race and the community it fosters. Let us have our voice heard by signing this petition and showing support for keeping Pitt Race alive. Please sign today to help save this vital part of our lives and memories.

There is precedence of a community coming together to stop the development of a datacenter, this is not over yet.

As of the Oct 7th borough meeting, no new permit applications, survey/studies, etc have come across their desk.

The next official update will be on Oct 21st after the township meeting. Please show up if you are local!
