On May 25th, 2024, the Washington Post released an article entailing Chuck E Cheese's retro stores. They mention previously released stores like Northridge, CA, and Nanuet, NY. However, more stores have been added to that list. The stores in Springfield, IL, Hicksville, NY, and Pineville, NC are ALL being converted into what they're now calling "Legacy Stores." The spokesperson mentioned putting old CEC memorabilia on display in these stores for older fans to enjoy.
