Excellent work people!

The Leisure Pool and Ice Rink will stay open for the next 12 months at least.

Staff will not be taking a pay cut and there will be no redundancies which is also fantastic news.

I'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone who signed and shared this petition.

Thankfully we have two Counsillors fighting our cause in Brian Leishman and Alasdair Bailey so a big thank you to these two gentleman also.

The work is not over yet.  With the rising prices in everything we have this opportunity over the next twelve months to use it or lose it.

We need to show the passion we have had throughout the last week or so towards supporting the Leisure Pool and Ice Rink.

Let's get people buying Memberships, Live Active Cards, whatever you can manage in these tough times.

Let's also keep the pressure on the powers that be to follow through with their promise of PH20.  We cannot be in this position or similar in 12months time with no PH2O in the pipeline.

If we are The City of Perth, we should have a Leisure Pool worthy of that status!

On a personal note I am very happy my two sons will be able to continue enjoying and learning to swim at Perth Leisure Pool.  My Late Father also enjoyed his Aqua Fit Classes.
