#SavePDP (Priyadarshini Park & Sports Complex, Napean Sea Road)

Friends, for the past 30 years, PDP has served as a recreational space, sports and fitness complex and a community and youth center for all Mumbaikars. In a city like Mumbai where there is a dearth of open spaces, the park has emerged as a green lung and a treasured landmark.

PDP offers the best of both worlds - state-of-the-art infrastructure for sports and fitness and a soothing sea-view with lovely trees and lush green lawns!

PDP attracts and welcomes people from all walks of life. It has different significance and purposes for each of its visitors, from toddlers to 90-year olds. It is these people who have made the park, one of the most iconic locations in Mumbai. 

Unlike other public gardens and parks, PDP remains well maintained and over the years we have seen new developments for the benefit of its users. The recently commissioned Children’s Play Area is another welcome addition to the facilities at PDP.

We strongly object any interference by B.M.C. or any other Government agency for the possession and administration of the Priyadarshini Park And Sports Complex.
