Current leadership of Peoria Citizens' Committee for Economic Opportunity (PCCEO) have consistently failed to provide the duties of care as directed by Community Service Block Grant legislation. They have neglected their responsibilities, causing a loss of program contracts, including Weatherization and the Peoria Area Food Bank. PCCEO is now under threat of termination of the remainder of the CSBG program which includes contracts with LIHEAP (Low Income Housing Energy Assistant Program) and the HeadStart Program. 

This petition represents a "vote of no confidence" in the current leadership and demands the immediate resignation of the Interim CEO, (Cassaundra Powell), the COO (Wayne Cannon), and the Board of Directors for their lack of ability to move PCCEO through this crisis. Responses to this petition will be presented to the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies.
