The Karnataka Govt has recently set up an Apex Committee on lakes, under direction from the High Court of Karnataka, to steer restoration and revival of lakes.  The committee is to look into and take action on encroachments and illegal activities in vicinity of lakes.

We have submitted a complaint to the committee, marking all important officials, such as the Chief Minister, BBMP Commissioner, Chief Engineer Lakes, DC, Principal Secretary Revenue, Chief Secretary, etc.,
