Keep Palliative Care at Camden Hospital - We want a Guarantee to 2028

Keep Palliative Care at Camden Hospital - We want a Guarantee to 2028
The Issue
We are petitioning NSW Health and the NSW Government to keep Camden Palliative care open for the Camden and Wollondilly communities.
WE WANT A GUARANTEE TO KEEP IT OPEN TILL 2028
Money donated to the petition is to raise it's status on the platform, NOT to keep the hospital open. This is change.org not us.
Closing this facility will put extra pressure on Campbelltown Hospital, not only the staff, but the parking.
Moving the palliative care facility to Campbelltown will put unnecessary stress on local families. Which could cost them saying goodbye to their love ones.
Moving the palliative care facility to Campbelltown will double travel time to see loved ones, will add costs for parking at Campbelltown.
Camden palliative care is set up with a beautiful garden and peaceful location, that gives an end of life nicer than the concrete jungle Campbelltown hospital is.
With the growing population in the Camden and Wollondilly area, the decision to take important services away from this area is not acceptable.
NSW Health & NSW Government need to put our area first and make Camden Hospital a priority and keep necessary services at Camden.
The Federal Government also need to make our areas a priority with all the development in both areas.
This petition will be delivered to:
MP Sally Quinnell
MP Nathan Hagarty
MP Tanya Davies
MP Greg Warren
MP Judy Hannan
MP Mike Freelander (FED)
MP Angus Taylor (FED)
