The science is clear: invertebrates are at the bottom of the food chain if we destroy their habitat other wildlife cannot survive.
Please support saving Plot (F) Owlthorpe Heritage & Nature Trail as a nature reserve. Remember the whole area of Owlthorpe from Moor Valley down to Moss Way is targeted by developers.
Plot E is lost to the developers but we must save plots C, D and F. Although planning permission to build on plot (F) was originally refused, it is very disappointing to see that Sheffield (LPA) have now reintroduced plot (F) with a proposal to build 150 new properties. When first developed our oasis received government funding under Natural England Higher Level Stewardship Agreement.

"Natural England's commitment is that the public should be able to access green space or water, such as woodlands, wetlands, parks and rivers, within a 15-minute walk from their home."
