We would like to slow our traffic down and install BIGGER signage in order to stop the deaths of our wallaby population at Haliday Bay.  Our aim is to lobby our local council to install speed bumps, put in LED speed indicator signage and any other means that can slow down local traffic. Just yesterday another mother wallaby was hit and killed by a car. Her baby was saved thanks to a caring local couple and our amazing local wildlife carers.  These events happen far too often and are traumatic for those involved. We can stop this from happening and need your help to make these changes to our roads. Haliday Bay is a small seaside village just north of Mackay in North Queensland.
