We, the undersigned, demand that Wealden District Council abandon any plans to cease operation of the Uckfield Leisure Centre and further retain its Swimming Pool for essential public use.

We demand that management of the Centre either be retained by Freedom Leisure, Wealden District Council itself, or another responsible organisation which can guarantee to prioritise public access.

We demand that on no account should the facility be returned to its freehold owner, East Sussex County Council, for use as anything other than a publicly accessed swimming pool and leisure centre.
