Hello Tree Supporters,

The Whittier City Council continues to ignore us. Whittier just suspended the Tree Ordinance, allowing the City to cut down HEALTHY trees immediately with no public appeal process! Our petition is exploding with 7,872+ signatures to save our beloved Whittier trees. It’s time to send a stronger message to Whittier City Hall that we want Responsive Leadership for a CHANGE.  

If you live in Whittier, we ask you to join us in the campaign to replace the current Mayor and City Council members in Districts 2 & 4 at the April 14, 2026 City Election. We support the following highly-qualified candidates running for these elected offices:  James Becerra for Mayor, Vicky Santana for Council District 2, and Aida Macedo for Council District 4 (check out their websites).
