Our beloved Tauranga pools are for the people. These pools serve as vital community hubs where families gather, children learn to swim, and residents of all ages can enjoy recreational activities. However, our community now faces a challenging situation as the Tauranga City Council plans to replace them with an extravagant and unaffordable aquatic center. Bay Venues, the organization responsible for managing our aquatic facilities, has failed in its current duties, yet it remains operational, threatening the future of our pools.
