Update 24 April 2024

Dear Supporters, there have been some developments in this saga. The contract has been let even though Transport does not have access to the land. The peculiar legal state of Bradfield Park has also been explored and we’ve found that under the terms of the Trust which established Bradfield Park, North Sydney Council is unable to deal in the land (sell, lease etc). This matter will be a subject on Council’s next agenda (13th May).

I have heard from the appointed contractor that Transport is interested in engaging someone independent to mediate between Transport and those opposed to their Linear Ramp. This is only useful if Transport are willing to partake – so far it has been their way or the highway. I will keep you informed.

best wishes, Ian
