The Issue

Convenient Food Mart, located at 1409 Elm Road, in the City of Warren, has
been a family-owned and operated part of our City for the past 33 years. We have supported Warren City Schools, Little League teams, softball teams, golf teams, various other sports teams, churches, mosques, and numerous community  events.
On August 3, 2025, a tragic dispute during a "dice" game outside of our store ended in gunfire. This resulted in one injury and one death. Convenient Food Mart was not the cause of this tragedy. The real problem comes
from the reckless individuals who wield guns. Closing our store will not stop
the gun violence in our city. These individuals will migrate to another location.
Convenient Food Mart has always been a living, breathing part of our
neighborhood, our community, and the City of Warren. This tragic incident
should not erase 33 years of positive contributions to this community.
Please, sign this petition to keep Convenient Food Mart open. Please share this with your friends. Call your City Councilman and urge them to reopen Convenient.
As a show of your support. Please sign your name, address, and phone number
below. We will prove to the Warren City Law Director and the Warren City
Council that Convenient Food Mart does have the support of their city.
