When does one Starbucks become ALL Starbucks...

In our countryside town, we don’t just visit Starbucks for the coffee — we come for connection.

Over the years, our local store has felt like a second home. The friendly staff, the warm energy, and those little seasonal touches — from the spooky Halloween decorations to the twinkly Christmas displays — have brought joy to children and adults alike.

But this year, something’s missing.

🎃 No fun Halloween board art like last year
🧒 No seasonal games for the kids (they loved so much last year!)
🌟 What about Christmas decorations — and does that mean possibly no Easter either!!!?

We know these decisions often come from higher up, but we also believe local magic matters.

Our town thrives on togetherness, creativity, and community. Little moments like a colouring corner, festive staff made signage, or a seasonal game can make a big difference — especially for families, kids, and those of us who find joy in the small stuff.

The current colouring books are a lovely touch, but we’d love to see a return to:

• Holiday-themed games and interactive fun for children
• Staff made hand-drawn or seasonal chalkboard art 
• Store-led decorations for Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and beyond
   

It’s not about going over the top. It’s about keeping the heart in the hub — letting our Starbucks reflect the community it serves.
