Save our Species

Save our Species
The Issue
Hey! I'm Alisa, a current 7th grader in Washington, USA. I love clouded leopards SO much! They are my favorite animals! I love drawing, reading, and writing in my free time and I hope to get this petition so many signatures that we can send it to companies destroying their habitats to help the species live!
When I grow up, I want kids like us to experience wildlife and forests the same way we do. Save our Species.
If we get enough support, we can stop species from going extinct.
Current focus: Clouded leopards
According to 'https://globalconservation.org/species-facing-extinction/clouded-leopard/ "It is estimated that less than 10,000 adult individuals still live in the wild and there is no single population of this species that includes more than 1,000 leopards. Illegal hunting for their skins and other body parts, habitat fragmentation due to human developments, and a lack of effective conservation efforts has led these animals to be listed as vulnerable. Although they are officially protected in most countries where they live, enforcement in many areas is weak. The inability to successfully monitor clouded leopard habitat has made it hard to prevent people from illegally hunting them and destroying their habitat."
