First, a big thumbs up to startups like Flutterwave, Paystack, and others, which have weathered many storms to become renowned brands in Africa and beyond. It is no small feat to emerge from a country like Nigeria, which is widely known as an enclave of internet fraud, political corruption, and other criminal activities. These issues have become a part of daily life for the average Nigerian, as you hear people discuss their encounters with crime everywhere you turn, and the topic is a staple of the daily news.
This message is intended to provide comfort while also exposing the major players and beneficiaries of cybercrimes in Nigeria. As a common Yoruba adage says: “Petepete ta aba naa ni pasan, a ta bara ile, a taa ba ara oko” (loosely translated as: “If you hit the mud with a stick, it splashes to everyone concerned”). I will spare you the boring sermons – you already hear those every day in Nigeria from your overfed preachers and general overseers, whether you like it or not.

This figure's existence dates back 4,000 years, and it has been experimenting with immortality using all sorts of diabolical means. For those who care to know, this is the same personality you call Jehovah, Jesus, Satan, the Holy Spirit, or whatever you want. This message is not meant to disparage any religion or to be sponsored by anyone; it is based purely on personal experiences. You will do yourself a favor by heeding it, so that you may be well guided, save yourself from financial plundering, and understand what has befallen your nation.
As we speak, Nigerian youths—especially Christians within the caucus of your general overseers or those maintaining a close relationship to them, such as youth leaders, youth pastors, and others—have access to a strange gadget resembling a time machine (for average Nigerians, it is called a "magic mirror" or "monitoring device"). They use this to steal your passkey codes, passwords, OTPs, and even your two-factor authenticator apps. They then use these details to log into your bank accounts, email services, and personal apps to steal your funds and commit identity theft. That's not all; they also use the device to perform espionage activities, monitoring their targets in real-time HD video without their consent.
In short, your general overseers and the youths in their caucus monitor high-profile individuals, political officeholders, and other people of interest to them. The gadget, which has been secretly in circulation, was first shared among your general overseers and is now being shared among some youths. They watch and monitor their targets, listening to secret conversations, diplomatic meetings, and even reading your thoughts. This allows them to extract personal information, individual worries, concerns, problems, and issues between husbands and wives. They also gain access to classified government meetings and documents, which they then use in their sermons or personal communications to gain the trust of their victims and thwart their plans.

Here is an example of how they perpetrate their cybercrime and how their network can be traced. They monitor the owner of a targeted bank account in real-time HD video, copying the passkeys as the person sets up their account security. They can also trigger a request to the two-factor authentication app at the exact moment the target is making a similar request, so the target approves it. This is why you sometimes have to approve logging into your account twice when it would otherwise have been just once. When they successfully log in and gain access, they move a large sum of money out and immediately distribute it to the bank accounts of other participants, most of whom claim innocence when the fraud is exposed. This network includes high-profile individuals and companies who participate and benefit from the fraudulent proceeds.
This, therefore, is a call for hardworking Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to stand up against the invader and its cronies, who are hell-bent on destroying Nigeria. Do not be afraid of the personality involved. It is known to have operated in other places around the world and is always on the run when the law closes in. It is high time we rise up to take Nigeria back from both internal enemies and the external force wreaking havoc on the nation, for the sake of our present and future generations.
