Save Our Social Workers (SOSW) !

The Issue

Thank you so much for reading my petition today. I am a graduate student and a budding bilingual clinical social worker/child therapist (español).

I work for the Umoja Foundation, a local New Mexican Health and Wellness Nonprofit Organization that strives to deliver equitable services to underserved New Mexicans—and quality training to clinical social workers such as myself.

I entreaty you to donate however much is possible for you or your treasured business. The Umoja Foundation needs your help to raise $5K to continue operations by the end of this month. I encourage you to check out our website to see if our services would benefit you.

I understand that we are all feeling a bit pinched right now! However, please remember that every small donation benefits all of New Mexico. If you are able to make a one time donation, please consider doing so.

If you would like to become a Community Partner and donate regularly, the Community Members served by the Umoja Foundation would be incredibly grateful, myself included, from Mormon to Miskitu!

The compassionate services provided by Umoja and superb clinical supervision have changed my life. I made space for myself to heal and now I am able to work as a clinical social worker and beautiful New Mexico. As a permanently disabled citizen, this is nothing short of miraculous for me. Imagine what the Umoja Foundation could do for you and New Mexico.

Best wishes💖✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
