However, our beloved hot dog pushcart is now facing an uncertain future due to a provincial by-law review that seems to favour larger commercial businesses. 

Peggy's Cove is a renowned tourist attraction, attracting over a million visitors each year who come to admire its stunning beauty and experience its unique charm. Our humble hot dog pushcart has become an integral part of a world-class experience, offering affordable and convenient food options for hungry travelers. We understand the need for regulations and by-laws to ensure safety and maintain order within our community.

It is crucial that the Peggy's Cove Commission, an all-business committee representing the Nova Scotia Provincial Government, recognizes the value we bring as a longstanding food service sole proprietorship in this community. We believe it is essential for them to provide fair and equitable operating terms that allow us to continue serving loyal customers and visitors without unnecessary burdens or obstacles. However, it is disheartening that these regulations seem to disproportionately benefit larger commercial businesses at the expense of our small resident-owned small businesses. 

We urge you, members of the Peggy's Cove Commission & the Nova Scotia Provincial Government, to consider our plea for fair treatment under these new regulations. Let us continue providing delicious hot dogs while preserving our livelihoods as proud entrepreneurs in this beautiful destination.
