As you should all be aware by now the application for this new Wind farm has gone live on the Scottish Energy Consents Unit.
It is vital that we send in our representations before the 19th April 2024 in order for local feeling on the application be known. 
How to Object – Newlands Hill Wind Energy Hub
Here are instructions to object to the proposal to develop a wind farm on Newlands Hill:

Write an email to the ECU at representations@gov.scot with the reference ECU00004603 and make sure it has your full name. email address or postal address

Send a copy of the Email to your councillors  if you live in East Lothian.

This needs to be done before 19th April 2024. The more emails they receive the better.

Anyone can object but they need to be 18 or older. Each member of your household can object provided they have a unique email address. If you live outside East Lothian simply send your objection to the ECU.

If you are more experienced in dealing with planning matters please chose your own methods to object but include the reference, your name in block capitals, full return email address and postal address.

Please take the time to visit the site and register an objectionit only takes 5 minutes and will have a life time of benefit!
