Thank you for ALL your advocacy!
After months of writing emails, speaking out, and calling elected leaders in our county, this Thursday is our last chance to make a meaningful difference to restore school bus service before the new school year. This is the last time the board will meet prior to the new school year, and we need them to put on the agenda a motion to suspend all school bus cuts and then vote in majority for school bus service to resume.
What can you do?
1) If you have not already done so, sign the SECOND petition here (at least 300 of you have not signed this yet): https://www.change.org/SaveTheSchoolBusesToKeepKidsSafe Once you've signed, spread the word. Our stretch goal is to get 1,500 signatures on this SECOND petition before Thursday at 4:00 PM.
2) E-mail and/or call all eight elected school board members before Thursday and ask for them to put on the agenda a motion to suspend all school bus cuts at least for the upcoming 23-24 school year. This is for child SAFETY and EQUITY. Public e-mails for the eight elected members are here:

3) Friend/Follow social media account: "Neighbors Buses" on Facebook and/or @neighbors4buses on Facebook. Look for posts on school buses on NextDoor and encourage those commenting to sign the SECOND petition with the link above. Any posts you make responding to posts about the petition help raise the publicity level of the social media posts.
Thanks in advance for your final push to the finish line!
