It’s Share Thursday again, and I’m asking for one simple act of support: please share the petition today.
We’re now just under 72,000 signatures. That’s extraordinary. But red squirrel numbers are still estimated at only around 150,000 to 280,000 across the UK, and declining. They are holding on in a shrinking number of woodland strongholds, and when a local population is lost, it rarely returns.
Every share widens the circle. Every new signature strengthens the case for real protection of their habitat.
And we must reach young hearts too. That’s why I wrote Little Red – a story inspired by this campaign and the woodland warriors still fighting to survive. If you’d like to help in another way, please take a moment to read, review and share the book. It’s available in all good online bookshops including via Amazon:

The woods remember.
If you’ve already signed, sharing is the most powerful thing you can do right now. Post the link to your feed, send it to a friend who loves the countryside, or drop it into one group chat today.
Thank you for standing with the reds, week after week.
