But unless something shifts soon, we may fall short of our goal: 75,000 signatures by Red Squirrel Awareness Week (6–12 October).

And make no mistake: red squirrels are still vanishing. Woodland is still being felled. The laws that are meant to protect them are still being ignored.

But we can turn this around.
