Allerdale council planning department in Workington are trying to push through a development of 99 houses (FUL/2022/0159)on land that is a natural habitat for red squirrels and other wildlife. How much longer are we going to put up with developers profits being put before the welfare of our fast diminishing wildlife. The red squirrel is already being endangered by the grey squirrel population  and doesn’t need the added threat of bulldozers rolling through their homes.

If you believe our wildlife should come before profits please sign this petition to object to this planning application and show Allerdale council and the developer that there are people prepared to stand up for our furry friends who can’t stand up for themselves.
