The Issue

Our Tigard food cart pod at Hudson Plaza is more than just a place to eat — it’s where families gather, friends meet, and small businesses thrive. It represents community, diversity, and opportunity.

Right now, strict new city regulations threaten the future of our pod. These rules bring high costs and barriers that many of our hardworking food cart owners simply cannot overcome. If enforced without a path forward, our pod — and the unique businesses that make it special — could be forced to close.

We believe Tigard deserves a vibrant, inclusive food cart community. We are asking the City Council to save our pod by working with us to find fair, reasonable solutions that keep food carts alive and accessible in our city.

By signing this petition, you stand with the Hudson Plaza food carts and support:
    •    Protecting small, family-owned businesses
    •    Preserving a place where community gathers and connects
    •    Encouraging diversity and cultural richness in Tigard
    •    Ensuring affordable, accessible food options for all

Let’s keep Hudson Plaza Food Carts open and thriving for years to come.

Please sign and share this petition to show your support. Together, we can save our pod!
