Save our park.

The Issue

The proposed plans are to build more housing in a area that already has traffic issues. The site is a popular park that is currently used by local children and families. The plans look as though the current park site will be reduced by approximately 2/3's. There is no sign of a area in which children can kick a ball around. This will have a detrimental effect on the facilities available for the young children in Southcote.

This is a valuable resource for the area, encouraging children to exercise, socialise and spend time away from screens. If the park is smaller, it will only appeal to very young children, leaving our pre-teens with no play provision locally at a safe distance away from their homes.

Please, help save our park.
